Pastoral Manager - Responsibility for Safeguarding and Attendance

36 hours per week

Required for September 2020

Term-time – 39 weeks per annum plus 4 weeks

Salary: SO2 Points 26-28 plus London Weighting, £1,925 FTE per annum pro rata

Starting salary: Point 26 plus LW gross per annum

 

We are seeking an outstanding practitioner who is keen to work in a school that puts children at the heart of every decision made. You will be driven by a strong moral purpose to enable vulnerable children to achieve against the odds. You will be a passionate individual who is determined to leave no stone unturned when it comes to safeguarding children, improving attendance and developing meaningful engagement with families.

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Support Senior Leaders with whole school safeguarding, child protection and attendance.
  • Be responsible for the improvement of attendance throughout the school and to meet or exceed the school attendance annual targets.
  • Engage identified families and wider professionals to improve children’s outcomes.
  • Work alongside and in collaboration with the wider Pastoral Support Team and Inclusion team in the school to safeguard the futures of the children in the school.

RECEPTION CLASS TEACHER

Mitchell Brook is looking to recruit high quality staff for September 2020. We are looking for an experienced Reception class teacher who is genuinely passionate about teaching in our school and who would complement our excellent team of dedicated staff; who promote high expectations for all. Recent experience teaching in Reception is desirable.
