Site Manager
36 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum
Required - as soon as possible
Scale SO1 (Point 23) £30,151 plus London Weighting £2,094 per annum
We need an outstanding Site Manager to join our team. You will be required to provide a high standard of service, maintain a clean and hygienic school environment.

The successful candidate will have:
- An understanding of the main Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment and how they apply in a school environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to confidently liaise with staff, contractors and external agencies
- Ability to carry out repair and maintenance work with expertise in DIY e.g. painting and decorating skills
- Must have sound IT skills and be willing to develop these as required
- Numeracy, literacy and communication skills are essential
- Ability to deal with difficult situations effectively with resolution
- Experience of carrying out specialist building maintenance work, within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson
- Experience of keeping effective work records and system
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Willingness to participate in further training and developmental opportunities offered by the school to further knowledge
- Set high standards and expectations for self and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to use own initiative and work well within a team
- A person who is quick to learn with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- A person who presents a friendly and professional image whilst maintaining a sense of calm
- Willing to work flexibly with colleagues with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven ability to support and supervise a team of cleaners
- The ability to work well under pressure, motivation, enthusiasm, commitment, stamina, energy and prioritize effectively between conflicting demands
- Ability to work flexibly, understanding information concerning the functions of the school and option of over-time for events in school
Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage
