  AFTER SCHOOL CLUB PLAY LEADER REQUIRED

 After School Club – Play Leader

6 hours per week Wednesday to Friday

(3.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.)

Required: as soon as possible

Scale 2 (Point 3) £18,065 plus London Weighting £1,925.

(Actual salary £2,644.58 plus LW £281.81)39 weeks per year, term time only

 

Recently judged Outstanding by OFSTED, we are looking for staff who have the drive, passion and skills to be After School Club Play Leaders. You will be part of a small team of ASC Play Leader, and your duties will include teaching children new games and setting up ASC activities.

 

We need this kind of person to join our team:

 

  • Experience of working with children in a school environment
  • Good listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children and school staff both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent spoken English.
  • Be a good team player
  • Self-management skills i.e. the ability to prioritise, delegate and good time management.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, motivation, enthusiasm, commitment, stamina and energy
  • Ability to be creative and use initiative to engage children
  • Patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure

 

Qualifications in games and sports would be an advantage.

CLEANERS REQUIRED

 CLEANERS

10 hours per week (3.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.)

Required as soon as possible

Scale 1 (Point 1) £17,364 plus London Weighting £1,925.

(Actual salary £4,823.33 plus LW £534.72) - 52 weeks per year

 

We need outstanding cleaners to join our team of cleaning staff. You will be required to provide a high standard of cleaning, maintain a clean and hygienic school environment.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working as a Cleaner
  • Be a good team player
  • NVQ Level 2 in English Language or equivalent
  • The ability to communicate effectively with children and school staff orally.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, motivation, enthusiasm, commitment, stamina and energy
  • Ability to gain knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions and COSHH regulations
  • Have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

 

Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage
